RESEARCH
-
There are numerous research opportunities for the orthopedic residents at PCOM
-
We have the opportunity to work with many fellowship-trained attending surgeons who are actively involved in academic research and publish regularly in highly respected peer reviewed journals
-
Several of our residents have recently been published in JAAOS, JBJS, CORR, JOT, JOA, Orthopedics, and Spine
-
One of our resident's research won the 2018 John Charnley Hip Society award which was honored at the annual AAOS meeting in 2017
-
We also are encouraged to present posters and give podium presentations throughout the country
-
Our residents have had podium presentations in England, France and Italy
-
We have a resident research curriculum which provides residents with structured objectives to guide their research endeavors with the goal of publishing multiple research projects in peer-reviewed journals by graduation of residency.
